Today marks the official kick-off of Drinking Water Week 2012, one of our favorite weeks of the year.  At the American Water Works Association (AWWA), we always look forward to this week and the opportunity to celebrate our most precious natural resource.

As we have for more than 35 years, AWWA will commemorate the occasion alongside water utilities, manufacturers, service providers, environmental advocates and others across North America. The importance of safe drinking water will be recognized through school events, public presentations and community festivals.
